Scott Saffe

Divisional Vice President of Advanced Annuity Sales

Scott joined GamePlan in 2016, assuming responsibility for ensuring that our annuity sales coaches receive the ongoing training needed to help you succeed, both in product knowledge as well as sales techniques that you can take advantage of. Motivated by the success of his team, he leads by example, bringing passion and enthusiasm to the office every day. Prior to GamePlan, Scott spent 25 years with a major life insurance carrier, working his way up through the company and enjoying success at every level. At various times during his tenure there, he was named one of their top-five employees of the year, Employee of the Month, served on several teams that won monthly awards, and was accepted into and completed a company-sponsored leadership program. His motto of “Do what you believe in, be honest, have fun and enjoy life” served him well there, and has already taken effect here as well. Scott holds Series 6 and 63 securities registrations.

Scott and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 27 years. With their son now out on his own, and their daughter soon to follow, Cooper the Cockapoo is now benefiting from some extra attention at home. Scott is truly a Minnesota sports homer, avidly following all Minnesota professional teams as well as the Golden Gophers of his alma mater, the University of Minnesota. Though retired from softball and racquetball, he still finds time to hit the golf links occasionally. His current favorite pastime is relaxing next to the nearest body of water, and fishing whenever possible. Except ice fishing. While a native Minnesotan, he doesn’t consider sitting in a heated hut on top of a frozen lake overly “relaxing…”
